The Computer Museum of America opened its doors to the public on on July 20th 2019, in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing. Upon entering, visitors are greeted with a display of various movie posters and a free display of some notable pocket calculators. There's also a seating area and a cool cow named "Chip".
Once through the "ticketing & gift shop" room, the museum opens up to several different areas. Visitors can choose to start with whatever they are most interested in: Personal Computing, Supercomputing, Apollo, or sometimes visitors might come just for the Enigma machine.
For the purpose of a complete tour of the entire museum, it might be said there is an Optimal Path to most ideally present everything cohesively as it is laid out today. Alternatively, you may view a map of the entire museum below, with links to more details on each section.
